We love our outdoorsy lifestyle, so anything that can add even more fun into our adventures is a hit. The countryside is our happy place; that freedom, the fresh air and the open landscape is really important to us. Phil and I moved from our respective cities to achieve our country bumpkin dreams and we wouldn’t change it.
Toby and Martha are only 21 months apart, so although they are at very different developmental stages there are some things that they are both figuring out. I’m a huge believer in learning through play and especially when it’s a case of the children playing together to develop their social skills alongside educational benefits. We were recently sent the brand new Fisher-Price Monsters range of toys and our little monsters have been using them to explore, learn and play.
We absolutely love getting outdoors and that doesn’t change when the temperature drops. We had a few flurries of snow this week and yet Phil and Toby still popped down to our allotment! We enjoy going on family winter adventures and as well as free local attractions, we’re National Trust members and like to wrap up warm and get some fresh air whenever we can.
In case you haven’t noticed from my regular photos and posts showcasing a mud-coated toddler and lots of green spaces, we are country bumpkins. 200 year old cottage, allotment, soon-to-be chicken owners and walks whatever the weather. It’s a lifestyle we chose and love so when the children came along we needed products to fit our life.
Do you follow me on Instagram (if not, I’ll pause for a moment so that you can go and hit ‘Follow’…. Done? Lovely!) If you do, then you may have seen that a couple of weeks ago Martha and I joined some of our best blogging friends to celebrate the launch of the brand new BabyStyle Hybrid pushchair. *Spoiler Alert* We flipping love it!
