I was thrilled to receive an email a couple of weeks ago, asking if I would like to try out a few items from the Bonprix maternity clothing range, to show you all how I’m styling them with other items in my wardrobe. Now I’m well aware that I’m no fashionista, but I like to try and look my best and I love dressing myself and bump in lovely clothes.
Wow, 32 weeks pregnant. That seems huge. I feel huge. It’s all so very, very real and close now! With a mere 8 (to 10) weeks until we meet our daughter, Phil and I have started planning and preparing as much as we can. Oh, and we’re buying a new house so we’re taking guesses as to which happens first – the house move of the baby!
As I roll rather unceremoniously into my third trimester, my thoughts are turning to my maternity care options and what sort of choices are available. I live in a rural village so my choices for antenatal care are rather limited to the small local midwifery team, or indeed private maternity care and having carried one baby absolutely fine through the local midwives, I continued to see them this time around too.
For two of the last three Christmas and new year periods, I have been pregnant. This is, of course, a huge blessing but it can be hard to feel elegant and stylish over the party season when your wardrobe mostly consists of leggings and jumper dresses. I got chatting to Tiffany Rose and they very kindly offered to send me a dress from their stunning range to help bump and I feel beautiful for the festive season and beyond.
Yesterday I turned 26 weeks pregnant, which brings me swiftly towards the end of the second trimester. Only I’m not sure I’m ready! I can’t quite believe that 22 whole weeks ago Phil and I looked at those two lines on the pregnancy test together and jumped around like loons with the joy.
