Last week, Martha and I hopped on the train (the one after the one we were meant to catch – ooops) and headed to London to spend the morning in the company of I Just Love It, Historic Newspapers and some lovely bloggers, for their Mother’s Day Blogger Brunch. We were treated to some amazing food, great company and delightful personalised gifts that I simply need to tell you about.

When we finally reached Kings Cross, we met up with Leslie and Jade, then made our way to Percy & Founders where the brunch was being held. It was such a lovely location, with a table laid out ready for us and our gorgeous gifts showing our seat places. We had the most tasty granola, avocado on toast and coffee ever (I’m not even exaggerating, you *need* to try it, promise) whilst we chatted and mingled. There were loads of other non-veggie options there too which looked fab and I was glad I’d not had breakfast already that morning!

We had an introduction to both brands and I really loved the authenticity of the whole morning. I Just Love It is a personalised gift website with over 4,500 products to choose from. There is a wonderful selection to pick from, whether you’re after a gift for a loved one’s birthday or anniversary, a new baby or ‘just because’, as well as obviously Mother’s Day which is coming up *Nudge, nudge kids and daddies*

Historic Newspapers is home to a mind-blowing four centuries’ worth of original newspapers, making it the world’s largest privately-owned collection of its kind. These lovely nostalgic gifts come with a certificate of authenticity and make a really nice commemorative gift for a special date.

I was thrilled to receive a selection of personalised gifts from I Just Love It and Historic Newspapers:

I was also rather thrilled to win a bottle of Prosecco, which I was generous enough to save until I got home and share with home. *Read: There wasn’t a glass/straw in my hotel room…*

I am so pleased to have been introduced to these gorgeous brands and will definitely be visiting their websites when it comes to buying gifts for my nearest and dearest. The variety and quality of products is superb. Martha and I want to extend very appreciative thanks to I Just Love It and Historic Newspapers for having us along to their brunch and we both recommend that you check them out for yourselves!
