Exotic family holidays is either going to sound like an absolute nightmare to you, or it is going to sound like something luscious that you’ve been waiting to get your hands on for a long while now. One thing we do know however, is that exotic holidays can be one of the best holidays that you’re ever going to have. You’ve got the luxury, the lovely white beaches, and you’ve got the activities that you can fill your day with in the lovely warm climate. As much as there are positives, there’s obviously going to be some negatives when travelling abroad to an exotic place, not that we’re going to try and put you off! We’re just going to tell you how to plan the most perfect exotic holiday, but also how you can make sure that your whole family is happy and healthy throughout.

The Logistics

The logistics of it have to be the hardest part to plan. It’s not just as easy as finding a hotel that you like the look of, it has to be perfect for and your family. So, the first thing you need to think about is the quality of the room. If you’ve just got a double bed, and single bed, but you have two children, it’s not going to work out. Preferably, a family room should have a big bed for the two of you, and a separate room with single beds for the children. Plenty of hotels offer this option, but the ones you should look out for are the ones that have apartments or bungalows. Then you need to make sure they have a designated children’s pool, play area, and activities. Finally, you need to think about all of the little things you’re going to need to do before you go. If you’re going to an exotic country, you’re probably going to need to get malaria prevention tablets to make sure that you’re free from contracting it. There’s so many other injections that you might need to have depending on what country you’re going to. Then there’s the packing logistics, which is going to be a nightmare no matter what we suggest. So just make sure that you write a list before you do it, and follow it down to a T!

The Most Perfect Destinations

So, if we’re talking exotic, one of the first places we’re going to have to talk about is the Caribbean, the Mexican side is going to be one of the best for families. There’s so much to see and do there, and the atmosphere is so much more lively than it would be on the other side of the Caribbean. However, if you are looking for something a little more chilled out, then we would recommend a holiday to Mauritius. It’s got everything you could want from an exotic holiday, the hotels really are amazing, and will cater for kids. You can always make your own fun on an exotic holiday, and there will be plenty to do beach wise that your kids will love. It all depends on their age, and what they actually like doing!
