A newborn baby’s first week is an absolute whirlwind of discovery, experience and – let’s be honest – winging it. Even as a second time mummy, I feel like a first timer because Martha and Toby couldn’t possibly have been more different thus far. Here’s how we’ve been getting on.
Today Toby turned 21 months old and I am now 38 weeks and 3 days pregnant with baby girl, so with 11 short days until my due date and our gorgeous boy reaching a new month for the last time as our only child, I thought a joint update was in order! Being 38 weeks pregnant alongside having a 21 month old toddler isn’t always the easiest, but I wouldn’t have it any other way and I love them both so much.
It’s very, very likely that this will be my last ‘Toby-isms’ post before he becomes a big brother, how mad is that? He’s only 20 months old! That said, he seems to have grown up loads since last month’s update and has been coming out with some corkers! Here are my top 10 favourite Toby-isms of March.
This week has been a bit of a rocky one because my SPD has been so bad that I’ve been unable to do much. Thankfully, Toby has been a beaut most of the time so we’re been having fun playing indoors, snuggling and getting out as and when I can. I’m linking up to My Wild Ones over on Make, Do and Push.
What a month! Between putting our house on the market, selling it and agreeing a price on a new house, Toby teething and general pregnancy-ness, I found that February flew by. I did manage to jot down some awesome Toby-isms throughout the month and I’ve loved looking back at them to think of funny things he’s said or done in the last month.
